(By the way, the terrific formula I found on the Internet works wonders: mix amounts of (real) lemon juice, vinegar, Downy liquid fabric softener and Palmolive or Dawn "original" style dishwashing detergent--the grease cutting kind--with copious amounts of warm water and wash away any trace of skunk).

I know of several of my friends who used Pet Magic to remove the skunk odor as well as other odors like the swampy, wet scents they bring in home. If you want to know about it, email me and I can get you more info which I have.

I have fun trying to get my pups to take the pills. My one is 20lbs and the other is only 5lbs. Luckily the both LOVE treats, and will eat them like they will never be fed again. <br>I bought sliced ham and chicken from the local deli. I wrap each of the pills nice and tight and feed them to the pups like treats. They inhale them as fast as I can hand them over. I don't think they even know there is a pill wrapped inside.

Thanks for this opportunity! I'll be the first to ask. . . any suggestions as to how to administer the holistic meds I'm giving to my dog for ear problems (the program has been wonderful - the improvement in her problems has been such a relief!) She insists the pills be crushed (she loves the capsules, though) so, I initially mixed in plain natural yogurt. It worked for awhile and it was so easy but, she got tired of that so, I changed to mixing in liver sausage on the recommendation of another fluffy dog fan and she does love that. Any other ideas that works to give my dog a variety?

You provide great information to help us help our pets in a natural way! I'd like to add that, one thing I have learned recently, is how dangerous fertilizers are to dogs. Some of these fertilizers (a substance called "2,4-D") are actually derived from Agent Orange! Our dogs get this toxic chemical on their paws when they go outside, then lick their paws, thus ingesting the stuff. I've learned that dogs whose owners use fertilizers are 4 times more likely to develop cancer. To me, it's not worth it.
